I was at work on Tuesday¡Kso beautiful day. I was sent to my previous placement, where I did my practical last year. There, this lil girl that was in my room last year, speaks in cantonese to me and said ¡§ are you Sonja?¡¨

I said: ¡§Yes I am¡¨

She says: ¡§I am in Kinnder room now.¡¨

I: ¡§I know, you are a big girl now.¡¨

She says, ¡§Yes, will you come and play with me in the kinder room later?¡¨

I said: ¡§Well, I don¡¦t think so today. You are going to go and have a rest soon, and I

need to do work today.¡¨

She thought for a lil while and says, ¡§can I make you a cup of tea then?¡¨

I said to her, ¡§Of course.¡¨

She was then busy making tea in the homecorner, while I was sorting out the washed equipments into trays in the next room.

Then, I said, ¡§what kind of tea will you be making? Is it Wu-Long tea or Tit Kut Yam?¡¨

Then, she thought for a moemnt, before saying, ¡§No, this is orange juice.¡¨ She handed me a tea cup, and I drank it.

She said, ¡§is it good?¡¨

I replied, ¡§ good, thank you.¡¨ She went on with her play.

This lil girl have apparently asked if I were coming back even after I left my placement for one and a half month. =)

Later on, a boy who I was taking care of last year, came into the room where I was and spoke to me in English, he puts on a smile and greeted me, ¡§Hi.¡¨

I replied saying ¡§Hi J, how are you?¡¨

He said to me, ¡§have I seen you before?¡¨

I said, ¡§Yes, you have. I¡¦m Sonja. J can¡¦t remember me?¡¨

He smiles and started to spoke to me in Mandarin, ¡§Yes I do.¡¨

I asked him, ¡§how¡¦s A?¡¨ (A is J¡¦s older sister)

He smiles as he explains to me what his sister, mum and dad are doing.

Just like to share it with you all, as I was just talking to a friend about how most children can¡¦t remember their kinder teachers, some however do, if it has affected them a lot. I was quite sad after disccussing this matter with my friend just last weekend!! And, bravo!!! I just like to say that children are so cute!!!You should have been there! Did I also say that I love what I do? Cause, if I haven¡¦t I love what I do!!

Sorry, I can¡¦t disclose the children¡¦s name.

Hope you have a great chinese new year, we kick off cny with Siu Mai for breakfast!

Panic/ try to save money...gets ppl (especially me)...always into problem! On wednesday..to ensure that i validate my ticket b4 it expires. and to minimise me getting wet from the rain that have not stop, yet gettign bigger since wee early in the morning...i quikly jump into the tram..thinking i used the same tram the last time (i usually takes the train). Was alright, till some primary school boys hop on, wet n noisy...they were playing balls in the tram!!! well..obviously i got hit!!! You know i hate balls..no matter how far i stay away from it..any ball that can go beyond my head..will hit me eventually!! Then, the tram stopped, and everyone got off board. I asked the tram driver, aren't you going to Camberwell? Instructor : Sorry sweetie, that would be 72 tram, is runs parallel to this tram..you got on the wrong tram and street." Didn't have umbrella (well,is my fault,i never like umbrella, and always was fond of rain, but not yesterday's rain) and i had to walk 10mins in the rain, up and down some hilly road to the next road!!!Errgghh..well, my car was home, so nicole can pick Vernis up from school, and traffic would be chaotic in the rain..so i assume...the long story goes on...

Okay, then today, was bringing Ernest n family..wanted to eat fish n chip at the pier...to save them paying for tram money, took the city circle tram...thinking it will take us to POrt Melbourne n Dockland..(dunno what im thinking,assumes that it's next to each other..haih..) so anyway, it did end us up in Dockland..but not POrt Melb..where fish n chip was..well..fish n chip at Dockland was pretty gd too..Anyway, today wasn't that bad, as later Quentin told me and said that trams to POrt Melb wasn't running today, due to flood from yesterday's heavy downfall!!Then later,the news said that, it was flooded so badly in Port Melb, that the traffic was chaos..What a blessing in disguise huh??

Remember, i said it's hot here?? Well..it's cold here!!! Its never been so cold here in Melb on a Febuary, and Melb haven't receive that much rain, since 1856!!!And guess what's the weather like coming Monday..forecasted to be 30 degrees!!! Now is 12..and have top 19 this afternoon...Crazy weather!!

Next time..i take train!

IPOD!!! Such essential thing in life...hahaha!!!!!

Tought you like to share this joy with me.. Quentin gave me a mini IPOD!!! Very neat and cool... the highschoolers are salivating for it..as they can only win it thru our youth group 'fungus' competition...

Anyway..Fungus was a blast!!! It exploded way beyond what we have estimated..80 Funguses...hahah...WAH!!!!Almost exploded the church..All went well...very well...was Superb...!! And then, there was this QYNN video...tsk tsk.....but was pretty gd, yet funny. Didn't know Qynn have sooo many sexy girls around him..Was a bit obscene to show it during Fungus tho...

It's Hot over here...

Well..how should I start? I haven¡¦t written for so long¡Kmy fingers are gibberish. Where should I start? I have no idea¡K*thinking hard*

Hmm..well..i won¡¦t bore you that much, telling you all the things I did for the last 2months, will share a lil ok? Don¡¦t worry, I can assure you that it was really great¡K

Here it goes¡Kspend some days in the hospital, as my lil sister was admitted to the hospital, so stayed and slept there with her. Then, I had my gorgeous family over to visit in Melbourne..which obviously we had lots of fun, and my mum just enjoyed herself with the mini golf in Philip Island, which by the way, it is pretty neat!! And then my trip to M¡¦sia was tremendous..hot, yet was really warm and cozy, catching up and meeting new friends..and not to forget the good food and the extra ordinary shopping malls, that always smells and looks so tempting!!! Had a blast mucking around with friends and family¡Kbut not the journey to Cameron and Singapore..was tiresome!!

Oh, even though all of you have noticed..but yeah, just like reminding all of you..i turned 21 already¡Khad a sweet time celebrating with some of my gal friends and nicole in the city, on new years eve..was mad, but pretty cool. And on the day of my official 21^st year¡¦s beginning, I spent some time with family, had a really fullfilling dinner, and some more later on supper with mates¡K

Then, there were the boring bits, where I packed, shopped, ate and sleep¡Kzzzzzz..boring!

Got back to Melb..Ordered take away and got to a friend¡¦s house to watch Liverpool and MU game¡Kpretty gd, didn¡¦t fall asleep...But, you know who¡¦s great idea it is, that land me and Nicole there, watching the game? ;) Well, the next day was our friends wedding, so we had heaps of fun..so sweet and romantic, the groom cried while saying his vows..and his brother wrote this really beautiful song¡Kanyway,it just so lovely..*lets take a moment, and just smell the love in the air =) *..Aahhh¡KAfter the wedding, the guys went and played their mid-night soccer, so I was pretty shack by then, caught a nap till like early in the morning, before I finally reach my bed..All in all, it was beautiful day.

Then, spend a day, almost, with Quentin¡¦s grandma..she got us going to the shops to get her some sewing stuff fro boaster, which we end up arguing which was which..was pretty funny, Marcus was there..poor guy, he didn¡¦t know what to say, or whose side he should be on¡KElastic or no Elastic..Grey or White¡KHmmm¡Kweird..:D

Then, the hectic part arrived..some of us high school leaders, took a bunch of high schoolers to planetshakers..and when you are place in the girls dorm, you don¡¦t get much sleep. After all the long day we have, we still managed to stay up till very ¡¥EARTHLY¡¦ hours to pain our nails, file them, straighten and curl our hair, pick out our wardrobe for the next day, discuss shopping, getting eyebrows done..etc..my goodness..its hectic, its fun, its tiring!!Oh, Planet Shakers was just MAD!!BIG!!AWESOME!! Reggie was the man!!Made many of us broke down to tears..and I had some embarassing stories on the trip..that haih..landed me to a new title..¡¨Sleeping beauty, water Queen¡¨..Sshhh cheryl..Well, don¡¦t ask,people.all I can say is that,a girl needs her sleep,and of course water;) Quentin, don¡¦t laugh!

Okay..there are so much to tell¡Kbut that will definitely bore you all¡KI¡¦m so sorry for boring you all¡Kbut hey..then you guys don¡¦t have to complain that you don¡¦t know what is up with me lo..

death is a sad thing..when somebody you love leaves you, you tend to somehow wake up and realize that you should have love them more, spend more time with. But why? Why do we always get caught up with life that we forgot that each minute counts, that any minute, we may loose someone?

Anyway, was thinking about it, as one of my bestest bestest friend is in S'pore, being there for his dearest grandpa that is dying...i just can't help thinking how hard it is to just sit and wait to know that you can't do anything,but wait for death to come, and how life is so fragile.

Last few days was very busy working on the church anniversary stuff. Very busy, like working only. Then, on Sunday, gave out a momento to each family as a token of appreciation from the church.Wow-low..ppl pick it up like hot cakes!!Pretty ridiculous!

Well, is my 1st day of work today!!My 1st earned money...was a very beautiful place, is a kinder, run by uniting church. The place is soooo beautiful, and Loraine is so nice and warm!!I was the culprit in making lil ponds in the sand pit, and have the kids put water in it. we totally made about 10ponds...mMmmmuuauahhhaha..they were so cute. "Hey,(they didnt know my name) can you help me make a pond just like yours?","can you make one here too?" this goes on and on..

Came home, worked on my big pile of assignments and then cooked this tom yum one dish meal on rice...but was a bit dilluted, as said by nicole. However, me and vernis like it tho..then the weather is getting a bit hot, so we had dilicious choc-mint ice-cream.yummm...

that's all..hhhmm..headache,wat sud i wear for the anniversary dinner leh??something that is formal,yet enuf room for me to run around during the night to assist chris, to make sure that everything runs accordingly.

Darkzone was great..we had about 95ppl turned up, 45newcomers...tell u..that nite was quite a blast man!

Busy...10th anniversarry of the church here is around the corner..this week will ahve lots of prep to do...gifts to prepare,seats to coordinate...500ppl..not an easy task..tsk..tsk..But all will be well..working with a bunch of excellent committee, that makes all things better...Oohh..we are going to ahve professional people to make us coffee for the night..so latte, or ice coffee anyone? with cream on the top...yummm..but too bad..i can't take milk!!!sad case man..

Dad was here last whole week..very busy, very full in the stomach(like always),but fun..got to have this cool new jeans...very big one!! and new denim jacket..muaahhahah..we managed to visit the vine yards which was absolutely gorgeous..my second visit tho..the day was beautiful and the drinks was just superb...as for this week..got to catch up with assignments and anniversarry duties..hhmm....

Met Bennie at crown the other day..so cool, he got a job..a consultant job..BRAVO!!!Somemore got name card man...! At least he is not lazing around and relying on allowances..hahahaha...so the gd news is that i'll start job this week or next too!!..money that you hard earned..pretty cool feeling!! Definitely no late nights for bennie and myself and all those working ppl...since we will start or have started work...groovy, i have to add..

Well...that's all for now...oopps...i got a new car!!Just tot i tell u..haahhaha...
